At many firms, your tax return isn't prepared by your CPA. After the initial interview, your personal tax information (W-2's, 1099's, brokerage statements, etc.) is handed off to a junior staff member who actually prepares your tax return, forwards the final result to the person you met with for signature and possibly acursory review. Did that person with whom you never actually met really learn enough about you to properly prepare your returns from the interviewer? Will your return appropriately reflect your tax positions? Was your return prepared effectively and efficiently? Is the real preparer a Certified Public Accountant? Does the real preparer work year-round at the firm? What is that preparer's level of experience?
At Pagac & Company, we employ a different approach. Your returns are prepared by one of our full-time CPA's with whom you work from start-to-finish.Our approach is straightforward, effective and efficient. You provide us with your information, either through our secure portals, in person or via traditional mail. Our CPA reviews your information and your unique circumstances. That CPA preparers your return from the information provided applying decades of experience with the most current information in tax law and technology to provide you with the most accurate return possible.Your return is then reviewed by another experienced CPA to confirm your return meets with the best practices in our industry before it's delivered to you for submission.
It's our way, we apply it consistently and we do it very well.
